“The PR Agencies start a YouTube channel for the sake of starting a channel and do not update it as often as they probably should”.
To the blog PR Interview, Andrew talked about the new YouTube´s layout and if the journalists access the PR Agencies´channel on YouTube.
Take a look:
PR Interview: Do the PR Agencies use the YouTube correctly?
Andrew Worob: In the United States, most of the PR agencies do not have a active YouTube Channels.
PR Interview: Why?
Andrew Worob: They start a channel for the sake of starting a channel and do not update it as often as they probably should.
PR Interview: Why do you think this happens?
Andrew Worob: The same reason a lot of brands do not update their channel. Not enough resources (money to make a video, the people to work on it, don’t have content worth uploading, etc.)
PR Interview: Do the journalists accesss the PR Agencies´channel in YouTube?
Andrew Worob: I’m not sure if these channels are accessed by journalists – hard to say, but I’d guess rarely.
PR Interview: To finish up, what about YouTube´s new layout ? Did you like it?
Andrew Worob: Way too busy. They are trying to make it more “social” in terms of its look (similar to a FB or Google+), but it is a bit overwhelming.
